Windows Xp Setup Part:2

Step 7 – Here you will see the End User License Agreement. Press ‘F8’ to accept that you are agree (you must do it) & continue.
Step 8 – This is most important step. You have to create partition here. If your computer is a new one and all hard disk memory in one all together then you will see a screen face like the screen face you see in below. Suppose that your HDD is total 20,000MB.you don’t want to create another or in two or more partition. If you want just one that is you will not separate it two or more just press ‘ENTER” key. Then computer will automatically create one big drive. You don’t need to further action.
Do you want two partition? One partition will be 8,000MB(C: Drive) and the second partition will be 8000MB (E: Drive) C drive is used for windows program you install and built in and D drive is used for your personal data such as music video movie or photo and so on. Don’t keep any personal data in C drive-in future if there are any wrong with windows and need to re –install it, then we will setup our C drive and our data on E Drive will remain safe and unchanged as windows setup will not touch it. This is merely an example. You can choose different format of hard drive. If you have 600GB you can divide into two by 250GB in C and 250GB in E drive partition. This is totally up to you.
Press’ C’  to make a partition or division.
Step 8 –Now you will s the total hard disk size and you will be asked how much or what amount memory you want to allocate for each partition. As my example from above I will choose 8000MB of memory for C drive, isn’t it right? Carefully see that C: drive has been created by 8000MB.but we also have a un-partitioned space or memory of 12000MB that we can use for our E drive. So you can use the up-down key to select the un-partitioned disk and press C for creating another drive. In screen you will se the total space available free for your new drive. Choose all of the memory you see-according to my example it will be 12000MB, isn’t it?.
Step 9 – In this stage you can see the two partition list that you created. You also se some MB of un-partition memory .do not do anything. Windows will automatically use it for better. Are you thinking of D drive. Windows allocate and create D drive automatically to CD/DVD-ROM.. Select Partition 1 (C: Drive) and press Enter.
Step 10 – Now you have to choose the recommended format NTFS file system. If the HDD is formatted by you before then you can choose quick NTFS system. Do it using up-down arrow key which is in top of that list. Black arrow indicated is quick format system.
Now formatting of drive C will automatically start. And also start of copying file  plus others resources appear in two following screen.
